I remember thinking it was expensive when we booked it but there was quite a group of us so we shared the four cottages...Andrew and I had our niece sleeping in the upstairs section...so shared the cost. I think we paid about $100AUD per night.
If you do stay there make sure you get a beachfront cottage as the it's lovely to sit out on the verandah...the other two cottages are situated behind and in between the front ones; although still lovely we spent most of our time on the front cottage verandahs.
I would do as Deb did and email them and bargain hard.
Can't comment on Life in Amed but they have got great reports on here as well and if they are more affordable maybe they're the go.
