Price: Can get a little cheaper through negotiating with Tour Operators. Accomodation at the park includes free entry too as we found this the way to go - four of us shared family suite for $200us. So basically $100us and you got to spend the night with the animals.
Lunch Package: Very expensive to eat and drink at the park. One resturant is a little cheaper - the main resturant overlooking the lions den is expensive, but the food is good. Package is ok - depends on what you want to eat... Good burgers but will cost you ~50,000rp. Beer small 30,000 (plus tax)
Photos: If you buy the explorer pass you will get a free photo with orangatang, baby tiger. Otherwise cost 30,000rp.
Rides: You get the pool and a couple of rides for free - the indiana jones thing is a waste of space. But cross the bridge and you have to pay 25-30,000rp per ride...
Think the operators of the park have this wrong. Noone really over there and the park is a must see but on the expensive side without the free rides.
We stayed the night so got the extra benefit of the pool and animals being fee in the open reserve, also walked through the park when all other tourists had left and got some quality time with the baby orangatang and tiger. Also breaky with the Lions etc etc. Adds to the experience.
All-in-all i've been there twice and must say it was better and more active in January (first time). Was there three weeks ago and not so many tourists and the park not so alive.
I'd stay the night and get the whole experience :)
