We think it is well located as you can walk to everything, the beach isn't great all year round so not always worth going but if you want to party its very close to stumble home. There isn't the Balinese Gardens of some places but it has a certain atmosphere and I think its from the people that stay there. It isn't huge so you get to know the other guests which is part of the fun. The rooms are large, clean, modern and very comfortable. It's also great if you are in to sport as they have all the sports channels. They have 2 pools, the second one being a long lap pool, there's a gym if you are keen and the meals of a generous size. Also close to some very good Warungs if you don't want to eat at KTH.
The new section will probably bring in more singles and couples as till now it has been very 'family' orientated as it is apartments, not hotel rooms so great if you have kids so you have a kitchen to keep all their fussy foods etc. Also works out cheap for 2 couples sharing if you get the 2 bed. 2 bath. The new section has studio apartments which are quite big and brand new.
