The true meaning of OM

Hi guys,
last week I bought a neck pendant with the Balinese engraving of the word 'OM'.

I know that 'Om Swastiasu' is a traditional greeting but has far more significance than usual greetings

Many people ask me what the pendant represents,i would like to know the true meaning of OM
