We stayed in June for the first time - 4 women together. Child free part of our trip. Tegal Sari is fantastic and I would go back with my 12 yo son and hubby in tow. As others have said it is a nice quiet relaxing place but when we were there there was a couple at the pool with a toddler and baby. Your children will love Ubud. I cant wait to go back to the Tegal Sari.
