I was there in September, didnt do a JBR, but I must say I had some very moving experiences in Bali. From participating in a Hindu Ceremony on the beach which was really beautiful. Then hanging out with Reggae singing tour guides trying to make a living. Sitting on the footpath having a chat to a guy in Legian while he polished his woodwork, hearing his story of his life, to frantically trying to help a young man whose tooth had broken off at gum level. I didnt have much money left to get him to a dentist and was leaving that night. Best I could do was panadol and a carton of chocolate milk. His gratitude brought tears to my eyes and I experienced the real meaning of being humble. An old Balinese healer told me "we are all from the same organ". Oh yes, I am going back to Bali for some more wonderful life experiences. Loved it. Life is an adventure if you want to go and experience it. Enjoy!!!! I had the best holiday ever.
