My daughter and her friend went, just the two of them so not a lot of peer group pressure to do things they would not normally do. They stayed in a family oriented hotel but still went clubbing at night. Both had travelled overseas before with family and to Bali both at least twice with family.
Medical/hospital would probably be better than here in Australia because they can pay they will be seen first if an emergency. Make sure you take out travel insurance though as it can cost upwards of $50,000 to get back if needing medical assistance.
