I too love KL, it is really interesting, and shopping no bad at all. Always check out the FOS outlets (factory outlets) can be found in Times square and another mall in Bukit Bintang that I have forgotten name of. If you have kids and doing a stop over for a day or so, have a look at Sunway lagoon, its enormous complex midway between airport and city centre, has several hotels covering all budgets, an enormous great Mall with ice skating rink, and theme apark and waterworld.
