Just wanted to say that i have recently returned from my first trip to Bali and I am addicted! I got back and that arvo went to travel agents to get latest books to organise next visit!
I wanted to mention some of the fantastic (or otherwise) services I received whilst there!
Jet Star- Nah! Never again! The Hostie was just plainkly over the whole travel thing and should have been retired to ground crew a long time ago! They were as unhelpful as they could be and I would personally never go that way again!
The Lokha Legian! Wow! What can I say! They were fantastic! Great location! Great Breakfast! Lovely friendly team of staff! It got me hooked from the moment we arrived at the reception late on the first night! They were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was all it should have been and I have nothing negative to say about the whole experiance!
I ate in numerous places and generally loved everything I had! A few notables were the Papas Itallian in Legian on the beach. Fantastic volcano pizza! Drops at Casa Padma. Kubuku in Poppies lane 1- oh and the owner of that place was a riot! Heather and Lee were so willing to share local knowledge and created a great first night out in Bali!- and they make the best full breakfast imaginable!!TJ's mexican in Poppies 1.Too many more to mention.
The ease of traveling around and the friendliness of the locals has got me hooked and this is the first of many many trips in the future!
Thanks to everyone who made it so unreal! I will be back!
