I have read the baggage allowance conditions and although golf clubs and surf boards are mentioned and length restrictions mentioned there is no reference to preferrential treatment with regard weight. I would contact Garuda to find out whether or not they charge extra. The hire of clubs is included in the green fee and buggy hire and caddy and shoes also, in most cases. I know to play with strange clubs is often a waste of time, and although I am a golf nut, I find it a bit too hot and steamy to play golf in Bali.
