Imagine if you have a prepaid aussie sim and you get roaming put on your number. Ahat happens when the indo carrier charges optus $210 for all the calls you have made on your phone and you have only got say $20 of credit. Optus knows your phone made the calls with a sim you bought somewhere and is obliged tp pay the indo carrier even though there is a good chance you will ditch that prepaid sim and change to another.
In short. Get yourself an account with Optus so they can legally chase you for the money. Or take an unlocked phone to Bali and buy a bali sim.
