Hi there Jen/Pete, Our family have just returned a couple of days ago from Bali with our little boy who is one for his first trip overseas. We have known our driver for many years when we lived in Bali and now we live in Australia and he has a Safe n Sound seat(To Austalian & NZ standards) fitted in his van this is suitable for a newborn to an infant. He is a very careful,safe and honest driver, has kids of his own and we feel very secure in his van which seats 6 or 7 in total. He is based in Ubud. I cannot recommend him highly enough. We definately had peace of mind as our little one was secure in his carseat, no tiresome baby on the lap and as safe as can be. We now live in Australia but love not having to worry about lugging over the baby capsule in the hope it may fit someones vehicle. His name is Agung Raka, is an experienced guide and driver and offers all sorts of tours etc. I definately wouldn't risk the chance of taxis being able to fit or not fit my carseat on each trip and would prefer keeping everyone together.
