I understand your frustration we had the same problem awhile ago. We sort of overcome our problem and reduced our cost to bali the long way round. We got cheap Tiger Airways tickets to Singapore then used a FF from Singapore to Denpasar return with Australian Airlines then Tiger back to Perth. A longer way round but we got a singapore stop over in the price. I'd do it that way again just for the flying..lol
