If you want to wind the clock back and want to experience "Bali Old Style" there is a small restaurant in South Sanur on the beach called "Kesumas". It's nothing much to look at in the daytime but comes alive at night and with the best fresh seafood (not cremated like some of Jimbaran Bay's). Kesuma's is south past the Mercure Hotel and next to Nyomans Bar (aka: Sanur S&S&S) see map below.
