We have travelled to Bali on Jetstar at least 4 times, but each time the deals were too good to not book. We paid from Melbourne $340 return to $800 approx.
Our next flight is cheaper with Garuda, taking into account the cost of meals on Jetstar. We arrive in Bali mid afternoon with Garuda and the awful time of 10pm ish with Jetstar.
Flights are now at least $1060 return with Jetstar and Garuda.
I will keep my eyes open for deals with Jetstar in the future, but if compariable in price, I will choose Garuda every time.
Gives me the 'irrits' that a budget airline is same as an airline that is supposedly not budget.
