Money Changer - I always take the walk to the end of Jl Padma away from beach where it hits Jl Legian - turn right into JL Legian and on the opposite side of the Road is the PT Money Changer - with security.
Shopping - Garlic Lane - that has been said before. there is also some interesting shops around the PT Money Changer I mentioned so take a wonder down JLlegian and then back up the other side.
Restuarants:
Lots of choices in Garlic lane ( JL Sahadewa ) Padma ST and Melasti as mentioned. Dont forget to check out the Hulus Night show, legends Bar and Billys.
Take a cab one evening and try some in Poppies 1 area TJ's and Un's.
I also like Nero's on Jl legian.
You can head up to Eat st by cab - a huge array of Retsuarants there.
Spa's - Garlic lane on entering LHS is Ambiente bright Green building.
