Hi here are my recommendations.
Money Changer: Kodak shop - Walking up from Padma on the right, never had a problem with this money changer.
Food: Drops, bueatifull food and the best sweets. Walking up from Padma and the left just before Lokha Hotel and sort of opposite Indo National.
Shopping: Garlic Lane- Bags, shoes, massages, fixed price shops.
Look up archives for there addresses. Garlic Lane is not the correct name but if you look it up on the archives they will tell you the correct one.
