Hi we have stayed at the plaza suites with our children for 5 trips. We usually split our month in Bali between 3 accomodations but spend the majority of it here.
We stay in a 3 Br suite and have always requested lobby level which is on the ground floor along from the lobby.
There was no microwave in the kitchen on our last visit in March 2007. Kitchen facilitys include all cooking utensils to cook in an oven.
We had an issue with our 16 month old falling out of the portacot last visit but when he was 4 months no problems so depends on the age of the child. We bought a portacot from clandys baby shop, after he fell out for 88 aus dollars.
The portacot was better than the one we have in aus but we left it for a friend at the suites who has a baby.
We love the suites for our family. It is not on the beach but on a bypass road but we could always get the shuttle to the beach or shopping precinct and get a taxi quite easily for other travels.
We havnt used the kids club but find the staff around the pool very pleasant and friendly.
The apartments are very large and having the separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lounge dining area is great for when the kids want to just stretch out and feel at home.
