No problems Sunny days...I'm a bit worried now that I have somehow unfairly tainted your expectations on Hyatt Sanur. It's important to consider my comments as being from a persoanl perspective and not a statement of fact. I'm sure the overwhelming majority of people who have stayed at Hyatt would have good things to say about the place - and with good reason. It is, after all, an excellent Hotel. It's just that the old girl is showing her age in some ways and when compared with a property such as the Intercontinental over in Jimabaran, the differences are obvious. But let's remember that rate at the Intercontinental is also considerably more expensive. As far as Sanur goes, you probably won't find anything superior to Hyatt when it comes to Hotel style accommodation (Villa style accoomidation is an entirely different proposition). And as one of the other contributors to your thread commented, many of Hyatt's staff are long term employees who are incredibly dedicated, friendly and keen to see you enjoy yur stay there. As I mentioned, the Hotel has plenty to offer, so please don't be put off by comments alone. Can I suggest yuo go to tripadvisor.com and take a look at write ups and photos of people who have stayed there also. Feel free to email me for some pics of the property. Cheers - kevin
