Back again and have no idea where I am up to, Had so many lazy days and days which wouldn't be to exciting to everyone else.... So ill just write up some highlights of our trip. Which there is a hell of a lot..
I've already rambled on about my old man's 50th.... But also while we were there it was another friends birthday...46 I think he was... So our day started off by a long wait for our friend(mark and jill) and his partner.. as usual we were always waiting on them, I have never met anyone in my life who take 3 hours to finish brekkie, and an hour to eat a pancake!!!! We got very use to waiting on them by the end of it, give them a deadline of a hour before we need to go anywhere, so we could be on time..Ok so we were on the bikes again and off to Chungu(cant spell it) to visit a very good friend(molly) and his family, spent a few hour's out there just kicking back while dad was off with molly talking about some building mumbo jumbo... all to confusing for me, but he is currently building some units on the land at the back of his house and they are coming together very quick. Anywho visit over on the bikes and back to Legian. Bubba Gumps for dinner that night... Expensive but worth it.. Well for the look on marks face when they came out banging pots and pans and singing happy birthday, he kept turning around looking behind him... it was funny as hell. After dinner and off to take them to Hulu's Café for the drag show, I didn't go to Hulu's this night because I had been there the 2 night's before but as I was told and seen on vidieo it was a very funny night. The lady boys done their usual show, heading straight for the married men and straight guys, planting a kiss right on Mark! (Happy Birthday Mark)! The end of the show and all the girls(ladyboys) got mark up on stage sat him in a chair and sung him happy birthday.... Not only did he get the song but he got his make up done and a lovely orange wig with a huge flower, also he got the lovely 65 yr old drag queen to sing to him and sit on his knee, and mark being mark went for a grope of the 65yr old ladyboys boobs! I watched this over n over and each time I'm in shock and laughter!...More bribery material for me!!!
Another night I wont forget is a night Myself, Emily and my 2 brothers headed out for a night at MBarGo with Nick and Gecko from Billy's. Great night, lots of drinking and lots of dancing, Jungle Juice and Arak Attack's going around everywhere. Anyway around 1am they have some Balinese hip hop dance's come out and dance on stage! Now these guys and girls were absolutely awesome, I was in total awe watching them, after they had finished it was back to my jungle juice and dancing. What was to happen next is a blur to me, and I didn't see much of it but the story is from my brothers, friend, and security at MBarGo....
The dancers had finished and my younger brother thought they were awesome and went up and asked one of them how old they were, they didn't hear him so he asked someone else, a big guy standing up the back... This guy had pushed my brother away, and as he was walking back over to tell my olded brother what happened when they both got jumped... there was about 15 guys on 2, 2 guys were holding my older bros hands while one belted into his head and another into his back my lil brother was on the ground covering his face while about 7 of them were kicking into him... Now my brothers aint small boys and can usually deal with situations, but this was so over the top it was scary... As I said I missed this and didn't know until a friend came n told me, I ran around like crazy looking for my brothers who I couldn't find... When finally I was told my older brother was locked out the back for his own safety, by this time I had my little brother with me and we headed around the back.... Now im happy to say my brothers were not badly hurt, few bumps and bruises, scratches etc.... My older brothers wallet went missing, with his money, both their thongs, hats etc...
So the next day we headed down to MbarGo to meet the manager and find out the story from security seeming they didn't do anything until it was all over... Alec(his French), the manager was great, gave us video footage and said if there was anything he could do he wanted to help! Real great guy... So when we spoke to the security the story was it was a gang, they lived in Bali but were ment to be from Papua or somewhere.. They weren't wanting to let them in that night because they new there would be trouble, but there was no way they could not let them in with nothing have had happened yet...Police report was made and the police were great, because there was so many witness's and the security knew who they were it was all delt with within 24 hours!
A few night later me and Emily decided to give it another go, from the moment we walked in with some Balinese friends(who for once didn't have to pay) we had the head security by our side, we found it kind of amusing, he was even dancing with us now and again. Even when he did go off he always kept a close eye on us. Also once Alec and his assistant Jade had seen us it was free drinks all around! So it was worth going back, We felt safe as could be and had a great night. Alec couldn't be any more greatful that we decided to return, with thankyou after thankyou, asking us if we needed anything at all to ask!
