INCREASE AUSTRALIAN DEPARTURE TAX
(AU TAX)
The Australian Government will impose an increase in the Australian Departure Tax
for all airline tickets issued or re-issued on or after Tuesday 01 July 2008.
This tax increase will effect every booking to ALL international
destinations for departures from 01 July 2008.
The increase is for adult passengers only and will be: AUD 9.00 per adult per booking.
To avoid this Tax increase, airline tickets must be issued on or before
Monday 30 June 2008.
