Back again! Lol..... Ok im going to apologize now because from here on in I kind of lose track of days and what happens where...Im only going off photos at this point, which are all organized in days.... so just stick with me... there was plenty of boring days, and a lot of drunken nights which I don't remember to well!
Set off again for the day out n about, helmets on, a few of us looked like we were huge fans of the crazy frog! And others looked like they were about to head to the moon! 'Huston can you hear me'...Off to Discovery for a little look around, and a search for some thongs for my Big little brother, his younger than me, but damn his taller! First time I had been to Discovery, its alright, shops are the usual price... and no luck with finding thongs to fit on his boats...So off we go again to Kuta Squar, searching for thongs, n finally found some..Actully finally sound 2 pairs! Usually price from some billabong shop. I personally wasn't paying much attention, Except to the giant air conditioner which was like an old radio... confusing I know, go there n have a look though!
Back on the bikes and went to see some friends from home who went over a week or so before us, they were staying up the road from Posers near sinur indah, real nice place but cant remember the name of it for the life of me! Brain is still in Bali mode at the moment. Caught up with them, their holiday almost being over and ours just beginning. Seen some little baby monkeys in a DVD shop, chained to the post, they were so cute, but it was really sad seeing them there like that, but was so funny when my mate went up close to take a photo and it jumped at her, she had to do a quick 2 step backwards and not fall down the stairs. All the Street kid, the one who sell leather bands were standing there watching, im sure it made their day, they all giggled like hell and I was happy it wasn't at my expense for a change! Speakin of the street kids, had an absolute ball with some of them while we were there, by the end of the holiday 2 of the girls got upset and cryed when we were leaving. Going to miss them so much, Me and my best mate connected with these kids a lot always playin around with them and they r so cheeky!!
So by now it only being like out 2nd night our room was turned up side down, Two 20yr old girls, what more can u expect!!!!
Back to Billy's that night for dinner, with our six, 2 family friends from home, and another couple from WA who my olds met on their last trip. Food was all good as usual, good price's, cheap meals and Yum food! If you get there have Billy's Seafood Basket! Yum Yum Calamari! After dinner still hung around Billy's for drinks and the band, Cinta's band was playing and that girl can groove and sing! Half way thru the night Gecko got up on the mic and sung! Once again was great to be back there! Missed it! Hung around there until some unknown hour, singing and dancing to grease lightning while all the olds headed off somewhere else. If you head to Billy's at all ask about the dunhill man! Very funny little smoke packet man! Night eneded somewhere....
Up again after a sleep in, nothing to interesting this day... Got up done brekie at Ours just up the rd from us, no idea what I had! Went for a walk and took Emily my mate to see the memorial, Then headed down to Eddys in poppies2, across from bounty to let the girls do our hair... 2 or 3 hours later my think long mop of hair was done and I felt like my scalp was going to tear off if I turned my head to far... So bloody tight, but the girls done a great job of both mine and Emily's, so no complaints and a tip for them 2! Then next door to Rainbows for lunch, Sate beef for me and Burger for Emily(also Emily has never eaten chilly or anything hot, or sea food, or a lot of things lol). Great lunch n staff..My brother turned up, and on the bikes we were again and off down to samy n suzi's as we were everyday...Finally let kimmy do my nails! Just thought if I got it all done people would stop asking! But didn't I get proven wrong.....AGAIN!
A wonderful dinner at Yut'z..As I hear the steak is the best you can find, cheap prices and most the time you will need to make a reservation to get a table, or be willing to wait at the bar, with a free daiquiri on arrival. It was our friends from home last night, so done our goodbyes n me and Emily were off to you know where again! Yup you got it BILLY'S! Brought 2 of the street kids in and got them a drink, beautiful girls these 2 were, they had a play with my camera and took photos with us..By this time they weren't asking for anything anymore, and we really enjoyed there company. Another late night hanging around Billy's with the boys...I know how boring it must be sounding, but The band's were always good and different people all the time.... Night ended at some point, lots of drinking Vodka & red fanta. Home to bed!
Somewhere in this time we had a day in Ubud, went up on bikes, done the monkey forest which was fun.. Last time I done It I hated it and it scared me. This time it was very funny, monkeys grooming my mum n brothers, spitting banana on emilys hair n rubbing it in...Funny little critters they are, and the babies are so cute. Seen one monkey out the front sharing its banana with a dog, wasn't fast enough to get my camera out for this one! One guy when we arrived had just been bitten by one, but as he said it was his own fault for teasing the monkey with a banana. I can tell u now by the time We got back to Legian on the bike my ass hurt bad!!! Bikes r not the best form of transport for a trip up there, unless u have bun's of steel. Also burnt my leg on the exhaust of the bike, and blimmy it hurt, still have a red circle mark on my leg now! Wooo hoo holiday scars! Haha...Some point this night Emily sat out the front and started talking to one of the street kids, a little boy named Norman, don't know what they were talking about but by the end of it she was in tears, she had a real connection with this kid, he didn't talk much but really opened up to her about why they r doing what they do... Very cute!
Dad's 50th came somewhere next! Had it at....drum roll please.... BILLYS haha.... Great night as I can remember, a lot of drinking, and by the photos looks like I had fun! Jungle juice, cocktails, dinner at some point.... Got a cake from a bakery in Kereboken(ok I cant spell) black forest cake, don't know how it tasted because by the end of the night the old man was wearing it on his new clothes we got him for his B'day from Giodarno. A lot of butter in the cakes coz it stained his shirt.. Anyway there was 8 of us celebrating his birthday, and later on another 2 balinese friends as well as all the boys at Billy's and everyone else there. The band played until 11, got everyone up and dancing which is surprising for my little brother! But no way was he getting out of it. After the band had finished the boys got together the Billy band and kept the night moving, not that I can remember to much of it. Dad must have had a good night seeming in the morning he was still drunk and kept drinking. At one stage he was hiding in the wardrobe trying to go to sleep, don't think I laughed so much the whole time I was there. A lot of recovering this day, arvo snooze etc.... Dinner at Legian pub, great place and they have the footy as well! Great Mexican food and pizza made on tortilla's which was my fave thing while I was there!
Okay time for me to go watch one of my bali movies now! All these photos r making me miss it too much.... And still cant believe I haven't even got to our nights out yet!!! So much more to come if you's want to read my ramble.... If there is anything im leaving out let me know
