The increase in price is to enable Bali Zoo to continue to improve the animal's habitat, and to build a rehab for rescued orang utans.
As you know Bali Zoo is not a huge corporation with millions and millions of dollars but a small business that genuinly cares about the animals in their care.
I don't understand why your Balinese friends were not charged the correct rate?
