For your support & kind wishes.
Well the verdict is Gallstones.....They weren't going to take the gall bladder out because hubby wasn't in any pain yesterday & his liver function had improved so they were just going to progressively give him, clear fluids, soft food & then start him on a low fat diet (which is what he has anyway) & see how he goes. The reason for this is because they believed 1 stone had escaped & was causing all the pain, since he was free from pain yesterday they thought he had passed it. This still caused us alot of stress because we are the type of people that if there's a problem that can be fixed then fix it rather than have it hanging around.
However when the surgeon came in this morning & the registra? told him that we are going to bali in 11 days he said well in that case we'll whip it out tonight because you're not going to bali with Gall stones...Woooohoooo....That is such a relief....1 because we won't have the worry of hubby going through this again & the possibility of it causing damage to the pancreas & liver & 2 because we can still go to bali!!
Thankyou again, all of you...I was beside myself the other night & all of you picked me up & filled me with hope & encouragement, The main reason I freaked out so much was the family member who died last week died from cancer of the pancreas.:-(
To all of you who have had your own mountains to climb, I wish you all the very best for the future & the best of health. Keep positive & never give up HOPE :-)
Warm Regards,
Chris xoxo
