loved the patra we were ther in 2006 stayed in siute 321 and found it very comfortable. would suggest you stay closer to the pools and the beach front as the hotel is huge and it can be quite a hike to go for a dip they do have golf carts. look at rooms from 300 up to 328 that is a good location. also kira is a great driver we used him many times his car was brand new when we stayed there and the poor guy almost had a heart attack when my husbands friend scratched the roof with his surfboard, he was pretty cool about it we ave him a few extra$ and i am sure it buffed out. make sure you check out some local eats try the pantai cheap and cheerful, great sunset and cold beers, the green garden was good too there is also a great laundry along the same road and the little local supermarkets were also good. the locals are really friendly a bit full-on at first but thats all part of it. good woodcarver in the hotel if thats what you are into. the breakfast at the hotel is awesome too, and all of the meals we had there were good my favourite being the nasi campur (nasi jumper) just watch out for those little green chillies WOW they look like a bean and taste like a fire cracker, i can handle chilli the hotter the better but these little buggers pack a punch. so hope some of this is useful. we are also going back to bali next week staying in legian this time for almost 4 weeks cant wait. enjoy your trip
