we always just pay for our insurence when we pay for our tickets that way we are covered from that date and it costs the same regardless. I sincerely hope that your husband recovers quickly and then maybe you can use the holiday as recuperation for you all as it sounds like you all need it really badly. The only problem will be that your husband probably will not be covered for anything to do with his opperation.
