i had a 14 yr old cousin that flew to bali by herself to meet her parents. when my dad took her to the airport (perth) he just approached a family that was in the cafe area before the departure lounge and asked if they were going to bali too. as perth isnt the busiest airport around, it was more likely than not that everyone in the foodhall area were headed to the same destination. they took her under their wing and when they landed in bali they all went through customs/ the airport together. it made her feel a lot more comfortable being with people. she had also been to bali a few times so it wasnt that she didnt know what to do, just that she was anxious doing it alone. the family was more than happy to help out.
