Hi all, still having a great time in bali and we've been riding the bikes around and eating at heaps of new places. Starting to run into a few families and couples that are doing the same as us and hanging out in bali for anywhere from 3 mths to 1yr. We had a little fire at the villa the other night. It was 11pm sound asleep in bed and bang the water cooler caught fire in the kitchen, we were so lucky the water bottle had hit the floor and wake us up.The totall front of it had melted and was still alight when i went out. Just frecked out and i ran into the kitchen, onto the wet floor and started putting water on it.I just didn't think of killing myself by standing on a wet floor putting water onto the fire, lucky for me the trip switch had turned off the power in the kitchen but it really is a good idea when stay in a villa you have something to put the fire out with! Next day out we go and purchase a fire stay and blanket. Asked the land lord for a new cooler, yes right! No way guys , she's turned around to say the anything we damaged we replace and this it the same with the fridge, A/C,hot water service etc. We have no leg to stand on, no tenant act here!Anyway just one more thing we've learn't and i'd stay it's not the last!
