we flew to thailand in dec 08 and flew back Jetstar.
We purchased water after going through customs, and went to purchase duty free alcohol and were told we could not as Jetstar would not let it on the flight. Apparently only airline that does this in Phuket.
When we went to board the plane they took everyones water from them. This was after being through all the checks with the correct liquid measures, and at the restaurants section etc, we and others purchased water but were not allowed to take it on the plane.
we were disappointed as no duty free as we did not have time to purchase back in OZ and it was much much cheaper in Phuket than OZ as well
