many places have suddenly added a 21% charge onto their goods. but really folks, in the big scheme of things, when a beer costs you 10,000 in Bali, does the extra 20% really amount to all that much for you? its 20 cents.
and just remember that by all of you cheap charlies turning away and sitting outside the supermarket taking advantage of the free music over the road, the staff end up losing as they wont get nearly as much service charge as before.
that 20 cents to you means a lot more to the locals in the long run.
