Just got back last week and paid in A$ and got change in rupiah.
However the thing to remember is that the VOA is not set in Aussie Dollars so it is not A$30.00. The VOA is set at US$25.00 so the cost in rupiah will be at whatever the US - Indo exhange rate is at the time that you pay
Whatever currency that you pay in the VOA receipt always shows US$25.00 paid
