my husband has this and it when the tendons don't let the finger extend and then all of a sudden it will release the finger almost like a ratchet action. He has never actually declared this as a preexisting! Maybe we had better do it next time. I could not get cover for the bottom of my left leg on our Jan/Feb trip this year because I had been in the ED with it in December!! My leg just went red and swollen for no aparent reason and because it asks on the the insurence form if you have been in an ED in the last 12 months I had to say yes. Even though the Doctors thought that it was probaly cause by a bite and it had cleared up by our trip the insurence still would not cover me for it.
