First I bought a nokia slide, and was happy with it till about a month later small slithers of black plastic broke up from the under slide section. Could still use it, so did so. Then the decorative piece on the front of main button had split and gets caught on everything. Had ordered the parts locally here in Oz to fix, but before they arrived the screen has blanked out. But before all this went to s#*t we purchased another 5 on our Easter trip. 2 out of those five have had problems. 1 of them was also a screen blank out. WARRANTEE does not apply in Oz. I have sent mine back to Bali for repairs. I wrote in a JBR how happy I was with the purchase. NOT ANY MORE. 6 months and its totally useless. So if your not a regular Bali tripper, forget it. The guy in Oz told me yes made by Nokia, but in Indonesia. And our quality is so much stronger than Indo. We made huge saving by buying Indo, but honestly the quality should be the main consideration. Oh and the other 5 we bought were Nokia and had Sat Nav, slide phones. OR just buy cheap phones so it doesn't hurt the wallet when they fail to work.
