I also have MS but travel to Bali frequently. The getting around thing can be a bit of a concern initially with the heat but you can't beat Blue Bird taxis when it gets a bit too much for the legs and the head to handle. Use the advice already given re drivers to ferry you all to anywhere knowing you can always rest in the car if needs be with one of those "good books" that are a must have item. If you're able to walk unassisted then there's not really much that you can't do. You'll just need to use the transport options to get you through the longer stretches. I really enjoy going up to Ubud and visiting the Monkey Forest. The kids will enjoy it and it's great in the shade with plenty of opportunity to sit and just watch the antics of the monkeys and the people alike. When it all gets too much just remember the AC back in your room and the delicious "weightlessness" of the pool!! Have a great holiday and let us all know how you fare when you get back.
