I've stayed in a raja room. These are air conditioned. Some other types of rooms only have ceiling fans. You need a/cond as it is very humid in Ubud. All rooms will have balconies as it is very steep. Lots and lots of steps everywhere you go. Will keep you fit, or kill you.
