Spiritualist?

Not sure what they are called. I saw a show on Bali awhile ago and the guy visited someone who spoke to departed souls. Has anyone been to someone like this?

I looked on forum and I don't think Ketut Liyer fits the bill, especially after being in the book "Eat, Pray, Love", sure he will be much sought after now
