I do not agree with keeping dolphins captive in ponds however deep or large anywhere in the world.
this goes for Seaworld, oceanworld, the Melka or any other place that keeps them captive.
there is a very small number that cannot be released back into the wild, only one of the Melka dolphins is one of these.
How do you know "Dolphins actually get stimulated mentally from contact with kind caring humans." did one of them tell you with their smiling faces?
read the documentation from the experts, not the dolphin keepers at a place like Seaworld who rely on the paying public to keep their jobs viable.
The places I support are the ones where the dolphins choose whether or not to interact with humans and there are many of them.
If the dolphins don't choose to come in that day, then they don't.
