Yes it always raises a political discussion. I went and saw for myself. You do not hang onto their fins and they seem happy and well looked after. We have kids and took them for the morning and they loved it - even just sitting next to the pools watching and talking with the dolphins. It was well worth the experience for them- they would never have the opportunity otherwise. 8yr old daughter still talks about her conversations with the female dolphin in the back pool. It is a long way to travel. On our next visit to Bali our 18 yr old is coming for the first time and we are going to Lovina again as he hasnt been and the kids loved it so much. We are staying overnight this time -they have a good family package which includes accomodation, full board (meals) dolphin swim and show - the price is almost the same as what we paid just to swim wih the dolphins last visit!!
