In February this year, I priced a genuine 4Gb Ipod Nano at the basement level of Matahari Department Store in Kuta Square. It was the same price as Oz. However, accessories for Ipods were cheaper especially at Electric Land on the top floor of the Discovery Mall.

My suggestion would be to buy the Ipod in Australia. It takes a lot of time to download music and videos to an Ipod and also to copy CDs to an Ipod, so it is better done in Australia rather than let it eat into your holiday time.

If your Ipod and accessories cost more than $A300, you can get the GST refunded by TRS at the Airport.

Another suggsetion would be to download Indonesian lessons into your Ipod before you go.
