Hi there...We have left our booking a bit late it seems for Tegal Sari, our usual 'bliss-out' place in Ubud. All the super deluxe wooden rooms we adore are booked up, and their new villa is beyond our pockets.
Can anyone suggest a similar place (for us the appeal is sitting on the balcony having a bird's-eye view of rice fields, watching the workers, the peace, good food, good service etc). Bruce would quite like to be a bit closer to the centre of Ubud, though, as when I go off shopping it is a bit quiet and isolated for him.
Pricewise we would expect to pay up to 500,000-600,000 a night - cheaper always better, of course, but really budget places don't appeal so much as we are past the backpacker age and inclination.
Any advice greatly appreciated. Dates would be July 23, 24 and 25.
