I think you will find that a lot of people who used to frequent Bali Aussie were prepared to overlook the bad food, bad toilets and other issues because the staff were so good. Charlie and the other staff used to make people feel like long lost friends and it was like a second home to many. Now most of the friendly staff have gone, the price of drinks (which are not necessarily the brand you are being charged for) has gone way up, and the atmosphere has disappeared. The last couple of times I went back to give it another try I just left feeling disappointed and ripped off.
