I think people like to go to Bali crammed with info to make sure they squeeze as much as possible in to their holiday, but you'll be fine with your piece of paper.
I think half the fun is discovering things for yourself instead of walking along looking for a particular place that someone recommended.
By all means enjoy the forum and learn as much as you can, but when you get there you'll be fine. Other guests, hotel foyers, and tourist stands are a wealth of information should you need any assistance.No need to stress!
