If I had my way I wouldn't fly with anyone else. I love their flight times/staff. The lack of "extras" on a three hour (yes, we were early) flight did not concern me.

I have flown econ and premium econ and loved them both. If I took one of their specials I would happily go econ. If no specials I would probably upgrade.

We were actually a few minutes late leaving once and the staff sat with us in the departure lounge and chatted away explaining that it was catering, not their fault. They were quite distressed that their on time stats would be spoiled. Pointed out the catering trucks arriving and kept us so well informed. Still landed on time.

As such a small plane check in both ends very quick and easy. Seats appeared more spacious and comfortable than Qantas, and Garuda. The one time I flew with Garuda I thought I had stacked on 10kg as I tried to squeeze into the seat!!

The plane was a lot more modern than I expected from the age.

Food more than acceptable, drinks reasonable (comp in premium). Strangely, the worse service was from the trainee Indonesians, the Aussies were chatty and efficient.

Got another 3 flights booked, so gives you an idea what I think of them.

I also had issues with Garuda not granting (b/c) ff points. After nearly a year of fighting I gave up (as applying too late). They moved the goalposts too.

If you do decide on Indojet, perhaps try and get beyond the reservation girls and talk to management? Wish I could recall the name of the person I talked to. Good luck to you.
