It is a fairly harsh chemical. Will dry out your hair if highlighted like mine. It's a bit like a reverse perm. It grows out like the old perms used too, but instead of the curly ends and straight roots you have curly roots and straight ends (no root jokes please)
Having said that, my hair is only wavy and it never looked weird. I would like to see how really curly hair looked.
My hair was dead straight, bit frizzy on the ends but a few treatments fixed that. Personally probably wouldn't do again but as good as any job I've seen done in Aus.
