vip voa help

hi has anyone used the vip voa on arrival at bali.i have emailed them and have all cost BUT iam a bit reluctant to send copies of our passports.are they reliable and is it safe to send passport info.
please help if you have used this service.hubby wants to do it he probably thinks he will miss out on a bintang waiting in line.
