We have travelled with our kids now ages 10,8 and 2.5 every 18 months since no 1 was 16 months. Generally you book a cot through the hotel and they supply with it a single bed sheet folded to fit. we have never had rugs supplied and always take our own travel rug and if the baby needs extra warmth add a few towels folded side ways. It can get cooler in the rooms if you keep aircon on overnight.
Sorry cant help you with a car with carseat. We have never been able to source one on all our trips to bali. We do however use the baby bjorn carrier when we transport just to make the bub more secure.
With one child most hotels would be good, depending on what your budget is.What area are you looking at?
We have always taken our own layback pram as we know the bub will settle in it and already have storm cover, mossie net etc to attatch to it.
