1. Warung Krishna on the 'other' side of the By Pass road serves only one dish - nasi campur. Spotlessly clean, nice surroundings and authentic, spicy food. I was taken there by a local after discussing how much I liked Indo food. Only 10,000Rp for lunch including iced tea.
Jl Kutat Lestaru, Sanur Kauh, turn off the by pass road at Jl Tirta Nadi (opposite the Yamaha dealer with the big sign)

2. Cupumanik, Jl Teuku Umar 112B, Denpasar. If you're in Denpasar for a bit of shopping you have to go here for lunch. Delicious Thai food seriously cheap. Go upstairs and be entertained by watching the chaos in the street.

3. We tracked down the factory outlet for the silk Batik fans seen in some of the airport shops. Very interesting to see the conditions in the workshop and the range of fans. Jl Raya Sesetan, Gg Merpati no 3. A bit hard to find but you can pick up some unique gifts very cheap.
