(Boarding Gates / In Transit) - "If you are in Kuala Lumpur airport for lots of hours in transit and if too tired to leave the airport for the day.
I found some advice from a website: Kuala Lumpur International airport offers a lounge ("Plaza Premium Lounge") on the mezzanine level, which for the cost of RM80 each (approx. AU$35 at the time) provides a number of great facilities and ends up being excellent value.
The fee includes 5 hours free use of: very decent food (breakfast until 11am, lunch and dinner after that) & drinks (iced tea, soft drinks, Nescafe coffee - blerrgggh - and, get this: limitless beer!). It also offers fast internet, a massage chair (when you can get a chance in it), showers (with towel), free local calls, reading matter and comfortable armchairs (though nothing you can stretch out and sleep on). They even offer golf putting, though so far I haven't spotted the green.
Considering the amount of money you'd end up parting with over the hours in an airport, I reckon the RM80 would be well spent as you would'nt have to buy anything more.
