Is /was the same reason in perth.There used to be only one terminal for both 30 yrs ago and then it became to small so a new international terminal was built,and has been enlarged since,on the opposite side of the runway where there was a lot more room.There has been talk/discussions for years now about amalganating the 2 terminals into one at the international side but governments being governments i dont think anyone is holding their breath for this to happen.
