but dont worry...noone goes over the 4m drop. everyone gets out of the boat and walks down that part and then continues on the journey. We were lucky to have a boat in excellent condition (some of the boats with other companies have patches all over them) but all the river guides seem very capable. We went with 'Sobek' and booked thru an agent we just came across in the street in Kuta. I see they have a website www.balisobek.com if that's any help
